[Mobility] Antoine Lagarde honored with a Fulbright scholarship

PhD student at the LGDP under the supervision of Guillaume Moissiard, Antoine Lagarde will undertake a four-month research stay in the laboratory of Steven E. Jacobsen at University of California, Los Angeles thanks to the award of the prestigious Fulbright Program scholarship.

We congratulate Antoine Lagarde, a doctoral student currently working on his thesis under the supervision of Guillaume Moissiard (Epi2trans Team) at the Plant Genome and Development Laboratory (LGDP) at the University Perpignan Via Domitia (UPVD), on receiving the prestigious Fulbright Program fellowship.

This international distinction will enable him to undertake a four-month research internship in Steven E. Jacobsen’s laboratory at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The Fulbright Program, recognized as one of the most prestigious academic exchange programs in the world, supports high-potential researchers and early-career scholars each year to foster international scientific collaboration and excellence in research.

Steven E. Jacobsen’s laboratory is globally recognized for its cutting-edge work on epigenetics, gene expression regulation, and DNA methylation mechanisms in plants and mammals. This scientific immersion within a research environment of excellence will provide a unique opportunity to develop new approaches and strengthen the LGDP’s international collaborations.
